It had been a bit since we'd been to TGB and after our experience we kept asking ourselves why it had been so long! We popped in for a few snacks and were taken care of by Rickey. He was an amazing server, who was energetic, kind and knowledgeable about the menu. (There was an elderly couple beside us who had 15+ dietary needs/requests/changes and he was so patient and accommodating. He really shined with them!) Jared has really put together a fantastic team here! We had our usual, Everything Pigs in a blanket, which never disappoint. The pastry is so light, layered and tender. The Spicy Chicken sandwich was flavorful and the chicken super juicy. I wasn’t on board with ordering the Eggplant Sliders, but WOW! I’m glad my hubby shared, because they were amazing. Additionally, the blistered shishito peppers and beef sliders were a hit too. Staples, but always on point! We’ll have family in for the holidays and can’t wait to share TGB with them.

They were closed! Met my friends there only to find a dark restaurant. Made the res on open table with even a required credit card! And yes, correct day, time and location.

The food was delicious and we had great outdoor dining on their deck. Would definitely recommend. We had the Truffle & Mushroom Pappardelle; Pan Roasted Chicken Statler; and Bar Burger and everyone in our party loved their meals!

The staff were lovely and service was excellent. The food was very good (a few dishes with were a little too salty, but otherwise good). A wonderful place to visit and enjoy a good meal.

Our meal at Granola Bar was absolutely delicious! The menu has many interesting options to chose from. We started with the carrots and artichokes - outstanding! The Pappardelle with Lemon and the Hot honey Chicken were delish! The service was wonderful! I highly recommend Granola Bar! It's a win every time!

If you haven't hit the Granola Bar since they’ve launched their new Seasonal Menu make your ressie now! We’ve been three times already and I’m loving the Gochujang Shrimp Taco, Blistered Shishito Peppers and Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich! Oh and ALSO the Grilled Peach & Ricotta Toast and the never disappointing Everything Bagel Pigs in a Blanket…so basically loving EVERYTHING! Save room for dessert because we got to experience the pistachio/jelly bake (I can’t recall what it’s called- thanks Jared!) and it was a delicious balance of salty/sweet. A must try for you and a definite- will get again for me. Alex, is a delightful server. Answers all questions, makes fantastic recommendations and adds so much to our dining experience. The outdoor seating is in the shade by early afternoon and makes for a wonderful environment for bites and nibbles.

Great congenial service. Fairfield cty drink prices but at least a good pour and very tasty Paloma cocktail. Food was standard pricing of late but the ricotta honey toast was excellent and the lemon pappardelle was good but a little too heavy and filling on the cream sauce.

The dinner at Granola Bar Darien is always reliably excellent! There isn’t a bad thing on the menu. The adult beverages are as delicious as they are tasty. The staff is professional, polite and solicitous, without being bothersome.
