Welcome back to the Green Man at Lindsell. Now currently under new management and direction!

In our cosy bar we have retained the buildings original features and given it a fresh contemporary edge where we welcome both drinkers and diners alike and our tables are available on a ‘first come’ basis offering an extensive range of dishes from salads, sharing planks to wholesome pub classics.

Our 70 seat a la carte restaurant to the rear of the property is also not to be missed, with crisp white linen, delicious food and an extensive wine list making it the ideal place for lunch, dinner or any other special occasions. Bookings are welcome and recommended. Please visit our website for restaurant opening hours.

We also have a large terrace area and extensive garden to dine alfresco or enjoy a champagne cocktail. We welcome families and have plenty of area for children to play. So come on in and take a look around and we hope to see you soon!

Very busy , but service was prompt and food arrived with no issues . The extension where we were sat became full with two large groups. The noise level was horrendous to the point you could not hear anyone speaking. The area needs rugs or carpets as the noise echoing in the area makes it impossible to have a conversation. We had to move to have coffee . Not enjoyable at all .

Nice country pub, a bit off the beaten track so reachable only by car/ taxi but worth a visit. Nice decor and good value menu - we had lunch on a Friday. The pub was quiet but the food was good and the service excellent - professional, attentive and friendly. Will visit again especially since it’s close to home.

This truely is the most fabulous Sunday diner experience in the area, and the staff and food are consistently good and staff are super friendly and enough space between tables to have your own privacy which seems lost nowadays

Service was poor, waited 50 minutes for a very average roast. Potatoes were dry and over done, the meat was chewy and had a lot of gristle and the veg was hard.

We went to the Green Man for a birthday lunch for my husband and the lunch was absolutely gorgeous! My husband had ribs, followed by a steak and he thoroughly enjoyed it all (and he's a hard man to please when eating out). I also have gluten and diary intolerances and the chef personally came out to see us to chat through what he could make me. I chose smoked salmon on gluten free bread which was literally out of this world! I've never had something so tasty that is gluten and diary free! and then for main I had smoked mackerel with new potatoes and the chef actually made me a vegan hollandaise sauce which was the best thing ever! No restaurant has even managed to do that in the 17 years I've been diary/gluten free. Would highly recommend. Food, staff and atmosphere are all 10/10.
