Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England).
Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal.
The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.
The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience.
The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. As well as the wine list developed by Margriet, who is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, there is also a wide range of international beers.

As usual it was superb. Thank you to Hannah who was so friendly and kind and superb as was the other lovely girl who served, sorry I can’t remember her name! The food was exceptional thank you

The food was so delicious especially the Raspberry Soufflé. Lauren and the team were amazing, the staff are hard working and always share the goals of the Daniel & Margriet the owners. Even though they were away, the service was well organised and the same as every previous visit.

Our third time dining at The Greyhound and each time we question 'when is this outstanding restaurant getting their Michelin Star'? The welcome feels like coming home to family and a 10/10, the service is unfaltering and a 10/10, the staff have the right mix of being friendly and super professional another 10/10, the food is exquisite and inspiring, tantalising your taste buds with every bite a definite 10/10, the wine choice is vast and so inspiring 10/10... we highly recommend this restaurant... honestly love this restaurant so much not too mention how lovely Beaconsfield is too. BOOK NOW, you won't regret it one single moment.

We had a lovely family dinner at The Greyhound recently. The food and service was outstanding, and the ambience wonderful. We enjoyed 3 different amuse-bouches from the chef throughout our meal, which enhanced our experience as we got the chance to sample even more from the Greyhound's excellent cuisine. . We paid £80 per person (4 guests) sharing two starters, two sides and two desserts alongside our main course and drinks. We look forward to another occasion to visit the Greyhound !

The Greyhound was always fantastic, however something has changed, the food quality has significantly declined which I can only imagine is cost driven. The service remains impeccable. But it is not what it was. Really a pity.
