Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England).
Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal.
The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.
The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience.
The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. As well as the wine list developed by Margriet, who is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, there is also a wide range of international beers.

My favourite restaurant of all time continues to impress. The food is very, very good (Michelin star level in my view) and the ambience an absolute delight but it is the incredible level of service which sets this place apart. The perfect balance between warm, happy and caring attentiveness and non-intrusive efficiency, together with unparalleled attention to detail, is something to behold. Amazing!

Great experience for a celebration with old friends, felt we were looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Had lunch upstairs and coffee outside in the sunshine. Great day , food was delicious! We are coming back soon !

Always reliably excellent in every respect. The imaginative menu gives a good choice of dining options. Dishes are superbly conceived, prepared and presented, and always with little extras. Service is taken extremely seriously and is truly exemplary. Prices are realistic for the quality offered. Michelin inspectors where are you?!!

First time here, even though we live close by. We were celebrating our milestone birthdays. We opted for a table outside, it was a beautiful evening. The seating outside is stunning, set within a beautiful garden. The food was simply incredible - aside from the courses you order, we were given other tasters throughout the meal. The lamb main was delicious. The chocolate and mint (fresh from the garden) mousse was the best I have ever had. The staff were extremely attentive and gave us a tour around the garden and inside after our meal, including the kitchen. It is far bigger inside than its looks from the outside. The whole place oozes character and charm. We can't wait to go back again!

Superb lunch for my wife’s birthday. The ambience was excellent as was the food and the attention to detail. The staff were all excellent and we will go back as soon as we can

My husband and I had an anniversary luncheon here yesterday. I had the vegetarian tasting menu and my husband has the omnivores tasting menu. Both sets of dishes were exquisitely presented and more importantly tasted delicious. Our server was charming and very knowledgeable and showed is the kitchen garden afterwards, where many of the soft fruits and herbs come from. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

As usual it was superb. Thank you to Hannah who was so friendly and kind and superb as was the other lovely girl who served, sorry I can’t remember her name! The food was exceptional thank you

The food was so delicious especially the Raspberry Soufflé. Lauren and the team were amazing, the staff are hard working and always share the goals of the Daniel & Margriet the owners. Even though they were away, the service was well organised and the same as every previous visit.
