Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England).
Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal.
The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.
The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience.
The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. As well as the wine list developed by Margriet, who is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, there is also a wide range of international beers.

    this restaurant is exceptional on every measure. The food delights in its innovation and taste. Service is top drawer. and one is felt 100% welcome even to the extent of personalised serviette rings. they deserve every accolade

    We had the gluten free and also a pescatarian tasting menu. Both were outstanding and my husband had wine matching which was great value for money. Lovely staff and perfect service Will be back

    All just amazing! Service was top notch, believe it was Al (?) that looked after us. We even had a tour of the garden and kitchen after dinner. Food was exceptional and all beautifully presented. A very special restaurant indeed.

    Just had the best meal in the Greyhound out of the 5/6 times I’ve been. I’ve only marked down in the food as my duck pastry tart overcooked and a little bitter - but filling lovely. Best risotto!!!!! Superb - as was the rhubarb souffflé. Chocolate petit four lovely. Nutty one….. interesting.

    We chose the taster menu along with matching wine and the whole meal was outstanding. The food was superb perfectly balanced with the accompanying wine and the presentation, like the service, was flawless. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.
