Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 2024 AA Restaurant of the Year (England).
Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal.
The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.
The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience.
The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. As well as the wine list developed by Margriet, who is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, there is also a wide range of international beers.

Food tremendous - met the head chef and team - seriously good. Service was so friendly and thoroughly professional. A relaxed environment but an upmarket one too. Brilliant all round and worth every penny. We were just a table of 3, but can tell had it would also be great for bigger parties and special events. Dog friendly in the bar area too which was great for us. Thank you Greyhound team!

Fabulous meal, great new dishes in the menu. So tasty and very filling, we ate far too much but loved it.

It’s always a pleasure to dine at The Greyhound and our Valentine’s Day lunch was no exception. The food is outstanding as is the service and the setting is just perfectly decorated. Thank you and keep up the outstanding experience you provide.

I don’t normally leave reviews but feel I have to, the greyhound without a doubt is my favourite restaurant I can’t think of anyway to make improvements, the service is amazing, the food is delicious, what a fabulous way to spend a lunch time, thank you so much.

We had lovely lunch on a very damp February afternoon, excellent food and wine served by a knowledgeable staff. We will be back no matter the weather!

Without doubt the best restaurant in Beaconsfield. Having dined there many times, it is always a pleasure to see that the very high standards are maintained regards both service and quality of food, which make for an excellent experience for both me and my guests.
