                  Took a while to finally get our drinks after ordering them and watching others who sat AFTER us get theirs. Were finally delivered with “Sorry it took so long”. Food was good, portions good. A big noisy and some staff looked confused.

                  We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Halyard. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The food was just as impressive—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. We started with the tuna tartare and the calamari, which came with a delightful surprise—perfectly blistered shishito peppers that added just the right amount of heat. For our main course, the halibut was cooked to perfection, and the Brussels sprouts were crispy and full of flavor. The cheese-laced mashed potatoes were an indulgent, creamy dream. Dessert was an espresso-infused crème brûlée that was both unexpected and absolutely delicious. Halyard exceeded our expectations in every way.

                  Horrible experience. The service was horrible. Never even asked us if we wanted a drink. Waitress barely checked on us. We had to flag someone down for water. Food was ok. Small portions and expensive. Limited menu choices.

                  We really enjoyed our meal at the Halyard. We ordered several appetizers which consisted of calamari, squid, clams and the ricotta with honey. All of our appetizers were delicious. Compliments to the chef. We then ordered the chicken, short ribs and bolognese. All of our meals were so delicious. The short ribs were perfect for a chilly January evening. All of us were pretty full, but decided to try the desserts. Definitely worth saving room for dessert. The espresso creme brûlée is probably the best brûlée we have ever had. We also had the banana ice cream dessert which was fantastic. Definitely put this restaurant on your trip out east.

                  The view is spectacular and the ambiance is lovely. Upon entering, hostess was lukewarm. Food is super flavorful but VERY small portions. Our waitress was very sweet but service is slow. In my opinion, not worth the money although I’m glad we tried it.

                  The food was very good (particularly the appetizers) but the service was shockingly subpar. Paying high end prices comes with the expectation that service will be excellent, and they really missed the ball here. $80 steak came out without steak knives and the sides came out when we were nearly done with the meal. Dessert came out with no spoons. Coffee came out cold (twice). Just a few examples. There was no flow and things came out very staggered and awkwardly. Waitress was inattentive. I could go on.
