Handsome Hog is a St Paul favorite nestled in the Cathedral Hill neighborhood. We serve contemporary Southern cuisine and boast an award-winning dinner and cocktail menu. Handsome Hog has a pig-centric menu our Chef Matt Green created an inviting variety of salads, appetizers, entrées, and desserts. The bar offers a curated bourbon menu and inventive craft cocktails and mocktails. The Handsome Hog has an elevated ambiance with a casual and friendly neighborhood vibe.
Come in and try our dry-rubbed wings, woodfire-roasted mussels, or crawfish hushpuppies to kick off your evening. Move on to the pork spare ribs, Carolina BBQ sandwich, or our mouth-watering smoked beef brisket. We ate here for Valentine's Day, and the ambiance was fun with twinkle lights and flowers! We shared the dry rub wings appetizer, and they were good. The homemade pickles are nummy :) The dinner was so delicious! We shared a rack of ribs and the chicken and waffles. I will definitely go back for both of them again! Our waitress was very nice as well, but I don't remember her name. Overall it was pricey, but worth it because the food is really delicious and the portion sizes are decent! I'd probably skip the appetizer and drinks so save money, and focus on the main course :)

This was our first time eating at this restaurant, but we will be back! The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were great! The service and atmosphere were excellent! The ribs, fried chicken, the fried green tomatoes, the chicken wings, everything was delicious! If you are looking for great tasting food this is your spot!

This reservations was booked for a business meeting and the group was extremely pleased. They enjoyed the food and the portions were "huge". Thank you for making a great experience for out of towners and showing the value of St. Paul!

Food was okay and took forever to get our order in and for it to arrive. Old Fashions were watery. Will likely not go back.
