A country side feeling mixed with a modern refurbishment. Tasty and homemade, seasonal food and friendly service, makes us pub special. Situated in the heart of Blackheath with a fantastic view outside.
We welcome dogs into the bar area, please select a bar seating if you would like to bring your four legged friends with you when reserving a table and we will provide water and treats for them.

Food was really good as always. Love the newish lamb roast option although it would be great if it still included a pig in blanket. Also service from Nathaniel was amazing.

Fabulous meal at the lovely Hare and Billet. I had the curry which had just the right amount of spice for me and was delicious! My partner had the seabass which was cooked to perfection. The staff always get it right. They're attentive and they know their menu. It's reasonably priced and offers a good night out. Thank you.

As usual the food and service here were excellent. It's a great place to come for all walks of life and it’s so welcoming. We had two roasts today and a burger. The food is fresh and perfectly cooked and the cauliflower cheese is so good. It has a great range of drinks and the isle that with here are so nice.

Great location, we wanted Sunday lunch and having the dog with us we booked a table and on arrival the staff were so welcoming. Great selection of cask ales so would recommend The Hare of the bed beers, lovely pint. We all had roast beef which was absolutely delicious, good portion size and pipping hot. Will definitely be going back again soon.

We had a great meal at The Hare and Billet. The menu options were good, it was particularly nice to see a good range of vegetarian and vegan choices. The staff were lovely and the service was excellent. The general atmosphere is really nice. It is a little pricey but on par with other pubs and restaurants in Blackheath. I would definitely recommend.
