A country side feeling mixed with a modern refurbishment. Tasty and homemade, seasonal food and friendly service, makes us pub special. Situated in the heart of Blackheath with a fantastic view outside.
We welcome dogs into the bar area, please select a bar seating if you would like to bring your four legged friends with you when reserving a table and we will provide water and treats for them.

    A little disappointed that dessert came late at the point when we were about to leave (we did say we had very little time). We were charged for it. Food was good and the venue and ambiance are great.

    Lovely pub good food friendly staff. We enjoyed a raditional roast dinner here. Porchetta was very tasty, and the unusual rhubarb sundae very good.

    The Hare and Billet is a really well run local with high quality food, good choice of beers and really attentive staff. It’s also a very rare beast, an independent pub in London. Highly recommended.

    If you're planning on dining on a Sunday, it's advisable to make a reservation in advance, especially if you wish to be seated in the dining room.     A wonderful menu and program for Burns night, slightly diminished by their being overwhelmed. Service was slow. A warm and welcoming experience, however.
