The Hawthorn is a Georgian gem in the heart of Haworth, packed full of period features offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family. This warm and appealing gastropub has been renovated throughout to showcase an array of local antiques including a stunning array of Barraclough clocks, homage to John Barraclough himself, Clockmaker to the Brontes, who used to live in this very building in the Georgian era.

We serve only food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and our menu changes through the weeks to reflect this.

We have a custom-made Josper charcoal grill which is the hottest indoor grill available and used by the best restaurants in the country. Cooking on the Josper ensures none of the natural moisture or flavour escapes from the food, whilst at the same time adding the distinct chargrilled taste.

Absolutely love Sunday lunch here. We'll worth the wait. Amazing flavours, top notch friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely book again

As always, the best Sunday roast for miles. Fabulous staff and service. Would recommend to anyone wanting top quality food along with friendly professional staff and 1st class service.

We’ve been here a few times now. The food is amazing. The Sunday roast is the best! We went on a week night this time and enjoyed the sea food chowder with a side of chips. We had shared starters and a dessert! Loved it all. The staff are fabulous; attentive and friendly. The building is cute and cosy. Fairy lights and candles. Would throughly recommend, but you need to book well in advance! It’s popular. Rightly so.

This is our return visit and Booked way in advance as we know this is a popular restaurant Unlike the music business where second albums are the worst, this visit was possibly better than the first. Flat iron stake was exquisite Venison was succulent Desserts equally delicious Add to this a complimentary glass of Bubbles and a birthday card for my partner We have decided that this is our go to restaurant in haworth and will book again soon

I've read a few reviews on this place so there's not a lot more I can contribute too but just wanted to say, the staff were fantastic, always smiling and happy to help. The food was absolutely fantastic, I had ix checks for starter and steak with swede mash and peppercorn sauce and a cheese plate for afterwards, everything was so tasty,the steak was the best I've had anywhere ,cooked perfectly and so tasty. The ambience was lovely and the staff didn't rush us out,it was very chilled.

Rachel is a great manager The food was superb atmosphere fantastic and the table by the window for myself and Hannah was in a lovely position . As always a great local restaurant serving great local food and the girls looking after us are also amazing as are the chefs and staff behind the scenes thank you Judith

Really great food (massive portions!) and always an interesting menu. Service super friendly and efficient, with a really welcoming atmosphere. Then, when you walk past the kitchen once you're back out on Main Street, the happy, energetic vibe from the chefs and their team bubbles out through the kitchen window. This is presumably why the food tastes so fantastic (made with love!). We always enjoy our evening at The Hawthorn and so does our little dog, Ted. Many thanks to the entire team!

Food was absolutely delicious… would highly recommend… the service was excellent and the staff were really lovely smiley young ladies… well done Hawthorn we will definitely be back
