The Hill features globally influenced, seasonal American cooking with the lightness and bright global flavors Chef Ben Pollinger is known for. Seafood, steaks, game, and vegetable-centric options are featured on the menu.
The style takes a cue from Scandinavian minimalism with a rustic farmhouse décor accented by mid-century design elements, industrial elements and warm earthy colors and natural tones. The atmosphere is inviting and approachable, suitable for everyday dining and also features a full bar, private dining room and outdoor patio.

ESTA FUE MI PRIMERA VE QUE VISITO THE HILL RESTAURANT POR RECOMENDACION DE UMN AMIGO Y REALMENTE QUEDAMOS FACINADO TANTO MI QUERIDA ESPOSA COMO YO. EXCELENTE SERVICIO LA COMIDA FUE REALMENTE MUY BUENA Y LOS PRECIOS MUY JUSTO;DEFINITIVAMENTE VOLVEREMOS MUY PRONTO.

Mother's Day was a bit disappointing. My dinner was great-pasta alla camadinese and seared scallops were fantastic, and the mousse for dessert was outstanding. The duck got great reviews, but the steak was too well done and dry by several accounts. The real problem was the service-not the waiter's fault. There were issues in the kitchen, apparently some people had quit and it literally took 2:15 to get through dinner with up to 45 minutes between the first and second course. This was for a 5 person table. Hopefully this will be a short-lived problem.

We enjoyed our first visit and are very happy to say that our experience did not go down “The Hill”. On the contrary. The service was very attentive and knowledgeable, the food was fresh and really tasty. Crab cake appetizer with mustard sauce was outstanding, would have liked 2-3 more of them on the plate however. Falafel was tasty and generous. Rigatoni bolognese was plentiful and the NY strip was beautifully cooked. We’ll be making another trip for sure!

The place to go for a pleasant fining experience. The wait staff is friendly and professional. Ben is an amazing chef and a great person. The food is excellent.

We went there for a special occasion dinner. Everything... literally everything... was outstanding from start to finish. The service was absolutely on point. While not inexpensive, the food quality matched that of some of the best restaurants we've dined at in NYC and throughout our travels. In addition, the portion sizes were ample. I hesitated to order the scallops, as many places tend to serve too few to make it worthwhile. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that The Hill served plenty of scallops, which were impeccably prepared. Our server was absolutely delightful. We had a wonderful conversation with the host (owner?). After discussing how amazing the cocktails were, she invited us to the bar to see some of their spirit offerings and chat with the bartender. We will absolutely be back.

This restaurant is a gem. Ben Pollinger is an excellent chef and an extremely personable individual. His staff goes beyond to satisfy the diners. Always can expect an excellent experience.

We have dined here many times and they always go above and beyond. The atmosphere and service was excellent and the food is always delicious. They have great cocktails, crooked smile is definitely a favorite. Chef Ben and his staff are top notch. Highly recommend.
