    Simple lunch in the bar… service again first class… both had the cod in a beetroot velotee, strangely good…we shared the cheesecake which was a mistake as we both said it was far far too good to share….will remember the next time…

    We had a very enjoyable evening here , the food was delicious. The staff were very efficient and attentive . A lovely ambience in pleasant clean and comfortable environment . Food is varied , good choices on a small ish menu which I prefer as then we have a better chance of it being fresh . Thank you to the staff

    Food was fantastic, however service was extremely slow. Staff were lovely. Lovely location and great car park at the back. Beer garden looked good although we didn’t venture into it this time.

    Popped into Ye Olde Horseshoes for a Sunday roast and was thoroughly impressed. The beef roast was excellent – perfectly pink in the middle, tender, and full of flavour. The roast potatoes were just how I like them: golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The vegetable medley was fresh and well-cooked, and the gravy tied everything together beautifully. The Yorkshire puddings deserve a special mention – huge, fluffy, and delicious. We were seated in a cosy room that stayed cool despite the heat outside, which I found very comfortable, although my dad thought it was a bit chilly. Prices were reasonable for the quality: £21.50 for the roast, with pints around £5–£6, and a 10% service charge added – fair for the great service we received. Overall, a lovely pub lunch with great food and atmosphere. Would definitely return!

    Food was very tasty and well-presented. Staff polite and helpful. Ambience is very conducive to socialising with friends. Parking is limited and street parking nearby is impossible.
