Located in The Park, West Palm Beach’s premier golf destination, is a modern locally inspired restaurant with a diverse menu that pulls inspiration and ingredients from Florida’s natural environment. The House is admired for its sense of place, warm hospitality, and creative menu. Set within an approachable, yet still refined atmosphere, The House is poised to transform the traditional golf course dining experience. 

Open for lunch and dinner, with inside seating and a large patio guests can experience a bounty of creative dishes such as a spiny lobster “corndog” to a clam and chorizo pizza. Dinner options will present a Florida trio of snapper, which is accompanied by spiny lobster red potato mash; and the crab cake highlighting jumbo pieces of crab meat atop baby artichokes.

The House serves brunch on the weekends boasting sweet and savory favorites such as guava and cream cheese French toast and fully loaded Mexican-inspired fried chicken over a green chili and corn waffle.

Delicious food in a fun and casual setting. Our waitress was excellent, making recommendations and joining in the upbeat mood of our group.

My wife and I went with 2 other couples. None of us had been there before but we had read some good reviews. We asked for a table for 6 and we were given a huge round table that was set for 8. After taking the extra chairs away, it was difficult to converse with our friends across the table. We noticed at nice rectangular table nearby that seated 6 perfectly, but we were told that table was reserved for others. But, you guessed it, that table remained vacant all night. One of our friends had a slight fainting spell getting out of their car, and upon entering the restaurant, she asked for a glass of water for her husband and was told to go to the bar to get it. She finally got the waitress to bring it to her. The dining room is spacious with high ceilings, and tables set far apart. However, because there were no tablecloths on the tables, it felt more like a large cafeteria with us sitting at a large round wooden table as if it had been rolled in for a wedding. Tablecloths would have made such a difference. The “crispy” oysters were warm and soggy, not hot and crispy. The special order of surf and turf could have been better if it wasn’t served with Pineapple mashed potatoes. My spiny lobster and shellfish frites were good, but the accompanying garlic fries aioli were way too salty. I informed the waitress and asked her to tell the chef. No remedy was offered. Others at our table said the pan roasted grouper was very good, as were the crab cakes. Would I go back? Probably not.

I have eaten here many times before and usually have some of the same dishes. I was looking forward to having them again. However, Tonight’s food was very disappointing. Perhaps they’ve changed chefs?

We ate on the patio, overlooking the golf course. Service was fantastic - friendly but not familiar, knowledgeable and efficient. Food was all delicious…well above average calamari, a very creative salmon dish with the fish cooked perfectly, and excellent surf & turf with shrimp. We also tried the Cuban mac & cheese, which was another creative take that really works. Key lime pie was the real deal flavor. Price is very reasonable for the quality.

We loved our meal at The House. The manager jumped in seeing our server was in the weeds. The manager was great. We started with the poke bowl which had a lot of interest. Followed by a salad that was fresh and had a flavor I loved and couldn’t place. Then we had the salmon which was cooked perfectly and was a treat for the tastebuds. We ended our meal with the key lime pie and the filling was the best we’ve had in some time. Skip the bread- odd flavor.

We enjoyed the food, but the service was slow and lackluster . The waiter failed on several occasions to bring the food prices requested! For example he asked if we wanted to see the desert menu, and he returns with the check. We just didn’t feel like repeating ourselves one more time . Such a shame as it detracted from the overall experience.

Enjoyed my experience immensely. Service was friendly and fast, food delish- I had lunch of Ahi Tuna and Avocado Salad- I would definitely go again!
