The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

David the waiter- excellent! Food was very good. Noise level okay where west, but started to get louder by 7pm. Lots of attention from the staff. Good experience.

Felt rushed. Took away my salad plate to serve main course. Served wine half way through our main course. Food is wonderful but you pay the price for it.

This is a new restaurant and an immediate success. Classic Italian menu, produced with good ingredients and huge portions. While it lacks refinement in the food, service and ambience, it delivers delicious and enjoyable meals. The only issue is the large dining room with many less than desirable tables in the back while the bar area and fireplace room are more appealing spaces. The dessert choices are not up to the rest of the menu and should be improved. Nobody raves about spumoni.

Go here, it’s worth it. Try the lamb chops if they have them. Everything was nicely done, no complaint about anything.

This place is the real deal! Previously residing in the NY, Philadelphia metro area, we’ve had great Italian food, and The Italiano did not disappoint! From the minute we entered, we knew this was going to be good. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly, all of them recognizing my wife’s birthday! RJ was our waiter and I can’t say enough about his professionalism and knowledge of the menu and the wine list. Excellent at his craft! Made us feel at home. The food: exceptional! Homemade pastas are cooked to perfection. We had rigatoni dishes and the veal. Delicious! Complimentary birthday cake presented to my wife, which was not expected! Excellent customer service! Our only regret: we don’t live closer! Thank you to all the staff at The Italiano, you made our night one we will never forget!
