Nestled in the heart of Brighton’s historic quarter, the brick-paved Lanes, The Ivy Asia Brighton is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and much more.

Savour a menu as rich and varied as the diverse cultures that span the continent of Asia. With pan-Asian classics alongside incredible vegetarian and plant-based options, there’s something to please all. Expect a range of Sushi and Sashimi as well as small plates such as Pork and Kimchi dumplings, Spinach and Mushroom Gyozas or large plates such as smoking BBQ Lamb Chops and Slow-cooked Pork Belly.

Food was horrible no flavor in most dishes except the small plate chicken yakitori. Only thing that made the experience worth it was the golden dragon dessert dish. I would come back for dessert and drinks but not the food.

We have been a great supporter of the Asia and the Ivy however sadly the Charm has gone ! I don’t wish to go into loads of detail but this used to be a high end Dining experience but it has been gradually depreciating over the last 12 months and after our last Visit this month in Jan 2025 does not deserve a return , there were a number of mitigating circumstances which if the management wish to discuss I would be happy to share but I’m not one to share our poor experience as I find that, quite crass . Poor show Gentleman and won’t be returning .

Once again the overall experience was very good but the only issue was that one of our dishes the chickpea and shishito pepper curry was lukewarm.

We have dined here a number of times and love it, however the bar service let you down this time. Our table wasn’t ready so we were shown to the bar. We were not acknowledged and didn’t get served for some time. Whilst I appreciate the staff are busy making drinks, a simple hello and we’ll be with you in a minute would go a long way rather than being completely ignored. It comes across as really rude unfortunately.

Called 2 hours before to confirm I was arriving on time and then made me wait 30 mins whilst others were seated and tables free , after I complained we we were seated manager was very nice but if I turned up 30 mins late with no explanation then o would be refused a table so my time is not as important as the I y Aida well yes it is , then my main meal didn’t come out with the sides or my husbands main meal had to complain again manager nice again took my meal off the bill and gave us 2 free drinks which was nice but honestly no real explanation , one waitress was quite sarcastic also . Food was amazing
