On the second floor of The Ivy Spinningfields, Manchester is Ivy Asia. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

Our menu takes you on a journey through Asia where you can enjoy sushi & sashimi, small dishes such as prawn tempura, and large dishes including the likes of slow-cooked pork belly and avocado crispy tofu. All our meals are the perfect match for our theatrical drinks and cocktails.

On the weekend, our vibrant destination comes alive with entertainment, music, and DJs, encouraging you to stay and play late into the night.

Situated on the second floor, The Geisha Room at Ivy Asia accommodates 18 guests on one long table or 20 guests across two rounds of 10. The private room features a striking pink onyx bar, sumptuous furnishings, colourful Asian-inspired fabrics and a gold leaf ceiling, all set against breath-taking artwork in floor to ceiling mirrors. As with Ivy Asia restaurant and bar, The Geisha Room offers Asian-inspired cocktails alongside dishes such as Wagyu beef with truffle sauce, salmon fillet teriyaki, and avocado, crispy tofu, lime and ginger dressing.

Join us in the stunning surroundings of the Ivy Asia Manchester for your pre-show meal. Whether you are heading to the theatre or the football match, our Pre-Show Set Menu is an ideal way to start your afternoon or early evening. The menu consists of four waves of food, showcasing some of our signature dishes at the price of £30 per person and you can add a glass of Ivy champagne for £10 per person. Available from 4 pm to 7 pm Monday to Thursday and 12noon to 7 pm on Friday. **Menus and Prices are subject to change. We reserve the right to withdraw this offer without prior notice

A Disappointing Evening On Saturday, my wife and I were looking forward to a special dining experience at The Ivy Asia. Upon arrival, we were welcomed and shown to our table. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the service started on a positive note, with our waiter providing a friendly and insightful overview of the menu. Opting for tapas-style starters, we were pleased with the prompt service, as all four dishes arrived together. The portion sizes were generous and the prawn toast and popcorn shrimp, were exceptional. Wanting to enjoy the meal at a comfortable pace, we requested a short break before our main course. When the monkfish curry and black cod were served, they exceeded expectations – both dishes were delicious. However, as soon as we had finished, the dessert menu was placed in front of us. We chose the melt-in-the-middle chocolate pudding and once again requested a short pause. Unfortunately, from the corner of our eye, we noticed the head waiter questioning our server about why there was no food on our table. Moments later, the dessert appeared—far sooner than requested. To make matters worse, the bill was presented immediately after, totaling £274 (which included a nice bottle of wine). Before we had a chance to properly finish our evening, the head waiter returned and politely asked us to vacate the table for the next booking. Whilst we understood the restaurant was busy, we found this request incredibly rude, especially at these price points. I politely asked if they could find us two seats at the bar so we could finish our evening. The head waiter replied with, "Let me see what I can do." He returned, stating that this was not possible and that we needed to leave. This completely soured the evening. At this level of dining, we expected to be treated as valued guests rather than an inconvenience. There are far better places to dine in Manchester which offers similar pricing but a world apart in customer service and overall experience.

Another fantastic visit to the Ivy and Ivy Asia. From the bar service downstairs and some amazing cocktails to the wonderful setting and food in Ivy Asia. Always great relaxed service, with attention to detail. See you again soon!

Amazing food every time we go. I took my friend this time for her birthday and she has a lactose intolerance. The staff were amazing and reassured with every dish brought over that it was dairy free. The whole experience was perfect! The food was amazing, every person who served us was lovely and give a first class service. We will definitely be returning!

Wonderful experience. Tried the pre-theatre menu which was outstanding. The options and portion size was amazing and for the value was 😱. Staff were warm and welcoming. Great way to spend my fiancés birthday.
