My husband and I very much enjoyed our date night at the Ivy. We started with martinis, which were excellent. The Hamachi and Caprese salad were some of the best we’ve had. My chicken with mushrooms, which felt like a safe order, was unexpectedly delicious. We will return for sure.

We went to the Ivy Restaurant through a recommendation, and it was amazing. The view took it to the next level, but the food, service, and general vibe was also top notch. We’ll be back!

The manager was wonderful to accommodate us, although we were 45 minutes early, just coming off a little cruise. The wait staff was top-notch and super sweet. The food was fabulous. I had the sea bream, and my husband had the lamb with gnocchi. We enjoyed the tuna appetizer and warm foccocia bread. There was no room for dessert. It was an extremely hot and humid day, so the restaurant was a bit uncomfortable, but the service and food surpassed that discomfort. The building is older yet gorgeous, so I'm assuming that's why the air wasn't on This was a celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary coming up this week, so we are doing little daily dates leading up to the big 20. Thank you, Ivy Restaurant and the staff last night

I have been a patron at this restaurant from the day it first opened and have always enjoyed the experience in the past. However, my wife and I went there for lunch on Sunday and my experience was less than positive. We arrived at 11:50 and were shown to a table. A waitress came by short while later with a glass of water and menus and took our order for the breakfast tray for 2. It was now about noon. She kept coming back to the table to refill our half-cup of coffee. The restaurant and patio areas were busy, but not crowded. However there seemed to be a lack of staff on hand with only a few servers to deal with the crowd. Time wore on...the breakfast finally arrived 45 minutes or so after the order was put in. Apparently the food needed time to cool to room temperature! The bacon was overcooked (I realize this is a personal preference, but...) the ham and potatoes were fine and the eggs scrambled nicely, but the whole thing was rather cold and had apparently been sitting for a while. We understand that the founding chef left and perhaps the new kitchen manager was just overwhelmed...or whatever. Or maybe it was the boss' day off. However, this was a disappointment and a step down from what we were used to expecting from such a great memory and a location that is stunning. Well, we'll try again later in the summer to see if experience in the kitchen helps.

Everything was super great. Our only issue was the restaurant was VERY SMOKY from the kitchen - actually cloudy when you entered main dining room. We asked to be moved and the staff accommodated us without a problem.

Attended for father's day. $50 a person. Not enough food. No scrambled eggs. Just eggs Benedict and not enough for everyone. Ran out of whip cream. No salad dressing for ceasor salad. Emailed concerns, no reply. Will not attend again
