From drinks at the bar to dessert, everything was delish! Plus Servers were very attentive. Shared a delish 24 oz rib eye btwn 2 and still had leftovers. Would definitely recommend Cannot wait to go back

We recently dined at The James to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant’s decor was beautiful—elegant and welcoming, creating the perfect atmosphere for a special occasion. The service was outstanding; the staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly valued as guests. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish prepared to perfection. To make the evening even more memorable, the staff surprised us with a glass of champagne each and a thoughtful birthday card for my husband. It was such a kind and personal touch that truly elevated the experience. Overall, it was an exceptional evening, and I would definitely return. Whether for a celebration or just a nice dinner out, this is a place I would highly recommend

We were a party of four and while our service was very good, as we would have expected, the noise level was too LOUD. The music was not appropriate for a fine dining restaurant. We ordered: 1- Beef Wellington prime filet mignon, which was tasty but drowned in foie gras-veal demi glaze. Ask for it on the side. Excellent dish, cooked mid rare 2- Crispy faroe salmon, celery root hash, shaved brussels sprout caramelized fennel, chopped bacon, lemon caper aioli. Excellent, as it said Crispy but moist , delicious 3- Crispy duck breast, sliced tri-color carrot, beluga lentil, luxardo cherry, duck whisky jus. Excellent, cooked to perfection 4- Half chicken, cipollini onion confit, fondant potato, king oyster mushroom, lemon chicken. Moist and juicy 5- We had 3 sides to share which was more than enough and they, asparagus, brussel sprouts and duck fat confit gratin potatoes, were delicious. While the service and food were excellent, we would not dine there again, such a shame.

Beautiful restaurant. Really nice atmosphere. Food was delicious , service was fantastic. The vibes were of an elegant speakeasy era. Highly recommend. A little pricey, but what isn’t.

Everything we ordered was excellent. Especially the oyster appetizer. Our server was amazing. We will be back.

Another fantastic night! We went for my husband's 50th birthday and brought the kids (12,11,9) for the first time. They did opt for the children's menu and had the chicken fingers, burger, and pasta dishes. All 3 loved their food. The adults shared the seafood appetizer special and baked clams. My MIL and I had filet mignon, FIL and husband went with strip steaks.
