The King and Queen is a beautiful quintessentially, English country Inn, located in the small village of East Malling, Kent. Located just 5 minutes drive from the M20 the K&Q offers everything you would expect of a 15th century coaching Inn. Serving traditional English food, from 12:00- 21:00 Weds-Sat and 12-19:30 on Sunday, we offer everything from pub lunch and classics to our full a la carte menu. Saturdays we are serving Brunch from 11:00-13:00 and Sundays we serve our famous English roast dinner 12:00-19:30. In addition to the beautiful interior areas there is a large well maintained garden for you to sit out in during the summer months. If you are looking for accommodation the K&Q has 3 double letting rooms, one of which is equipped for disable guests. Each room has private parking and a complimentary, in-room, continental breakfast is provided for you. Our menu's are heavily influenced by English and European cuisine and our ever changing a la carte menu offers something for everyone. At lunchtime we offer light bites and Our head chef has a passion for Indian cooking and every Thursday we have Curry Night where 3 beautiful examples of the delicate dishes of Northern and Southern India are on offer. Sharing deals are available. If Brunch is your thing then we're pleased to offer this every Saturday 11am-1pm. Sunday's are our favourite day and our traditional roasts are not to be missed.

Fantastic setting for some amazing food and a few drinks. The atmosphere was fantastic and the service was first class. I am so pleased to call this pub my local and the atmosphere and fantastic food keep me coming back time after time

Cosy pub which does a lovely Sunday roast. The meat and vegetables were cooked perfectly and they brought us out extra gravy. Service was very friendly and efficient, and they kindly accommodated us arriving nearly an hour early for our booking.

Two of us had the pie of the day off the Senior Lunch Menu. It was a large portion packed with chicken, gammon and leek. The other person had the Buffalo Mozarella, Basil Pesto, Rocket & Tomato Ciabatta, also a large portion. We would normally have had a pudding but were too full. Very good service and a nice, relaxing atmosphere.

Absolutely wonderful food and service. TBH we were a little dubious when arriving, now under new management, have visited the King and Queen many times over years having lived locally. Best meal out we have had meal out in a long while, quality food. Liver and Bacon was out of this world, steak was surberb, snitzel fantastic. Catered for our 4 year old with a number of choices. Thanks KQ We moved away but will still come back !! Fantastic food.

Delicious Sunday roast lunch, very generous portion. Friendly lively pub and lovely service. Great for lunch after a walk as we did.

We have been there a few times now and it is always a great experience. The food is great and the pub is very cosy. We will return for sure.
