Fresh and in season is our motto, and we are proud to have a close working relationship with our very own organic family farm; Stow Park - just 8 miles from The Kings Head Inn!

Our second visit to The Kings Head and another fabulous meal. Every course was wonderful and the only difficulty was deciding what to have as it all sounds so good. This is our favourite place to eat. Great venue, great staff and magicians in the kitchen. Highly recommend. Well done team. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a fantastic family meal at the King's Head. Their small but carefully put together menu catered for everyone from age 3 upwards. The service was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious, fresh and worth every penny. We can't wait to find another excuse to visit.

We went for Sunday lunch ( not our first time!!) it was excellent. Food wonderful, serving staff professional but very warm. Excellent gastro pub .

Sunday Lunch? Oh yes! Perfectly cooked Sirloin of Beef, roast potatoes with the flavour of the locally produced pork fat, every vegetable cooked to perfection…… mouthwatering and memorable. And the best of Apple Crumbles to follow. Highly recommended

Very attentive staff, lovely food all presented very professionally. Plenty of room between tables which is nice. Menu de jour excellent value with the addition of a couple of specials. Highly recommend.

Excellent food & service, this was the first time we’d booked for Sunday Lunch & it didn’t disappoint. There was so much food that it beat all of us, definitely recommend people give them a try.

Lovely evening with friends, the staff were very attentive and went out of their way to look after us. Our compliments to the chef and his team, the food was excellent and a lovely start to the Christmas period. Thank you.
