   We normally come to Latin King about once a year. My wife and I wanted to try something other than the chicken Spindini which is normally our go to. My wife got “toasted” ravioli which seemed to be more deep fat fried and everything on her plate was pretty bad. Ravioli was chewy and had a meat filling with no cheese, the meatball was dry with little flavor when you didn’t douse it in sauce and then I guess the dish needed more meat so they also added links of meat with the dish that were not very good. I got the lasagna which was decent but had lots of sauce possible to compensate for the sad looking pasta. Tough experience seeing as we normally have a great meal here.

   We have been going to The Latin King for over 20 years. We have not been there for a few years. It never disappoints. Food is wonderful, service is top notch and the ambience inviting.

   We’ve been going to Latin King for decades and it’s better than it’s ever been!! We’ll be life long customers and introduce new generations to this favorite spot as well. Absolutely delicious!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Latin King was great but second time Open Table confirmed my reservation but they had no record of it. From now on will just reserve directly with them

   Every time we come to Des Moines, we eat at Latin King. This is the first time we’ve eaten there in almost two years and the food is not as good as it used to be. Our server was great, she was very nice and helpful, but all four of us felt the food was extremely disappointing, compared to many previous visits.

   Great experience food service value were great! Only complaint music by our table was very loud and made it hard to converse.

   Very happy with the Italian food and the fact you could tell they make items from scratch. The Penne Regine was great.

    The entire Staff is awesome. Friendly and professional. Alex our bartender was exceptional. And of course the food is delicious.
