   The food was amazing as always. Service was excellent and the surroundings are comfortable. Cannot fault the Linney at all.

   We regularly it because it’s excellent. We know that the food will be delicious and that the value is very fair. The staff always kind professional and make every effort to ensure we have a lovely time this evening. we chose the wild mushroom croquettes for starter Which were delicious we had the roast beef with an additional side of cauliflower cheese for main course It was such a generous portion of cauliflower cheese and vegetables that we even took it home. It’s too delicious to waste For pudding we chose the ginger pudding and butterscotch sauce and local ice creams. Everything was outstanding. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Linny and hope to return very very soon. Thank you once again for a wonderful evening

   Have been going to The Linny for many years and always have an excellent time. This time we were sadly there in memory of Mum, who we lost last year, as it was also one of her favourite places. We had delicious food, all sat on a nice table by the fire.

   Good pub been there many times over the last 30 years but think it's lost its charm and friendliness a bit this is a personal opinion and I'm a bit old school ,food was good but found the menu hard to read in the low lighting the font was small.

   Everything we had been looking for since we moved to Devon. Can't wait to go back. Excellent wine to accompany an elegant menu.

    One of my favourite places to eat as the menu has lots of choice and the food is always delicious. It was my mother’s 88th birthday meal. Both parents said it was the best meal they had ever had in a pub/restaurant. Perfectly cooked as requested and changes were happily accommodated. The service was outstanding. They will want to go back every time they stay with me now, but I am happy with that.
