Always love it here, great food, lovely atmosphere, used to be our local, now we drive from Gloucestershire to go here. A really lovely country Devon pub. Caters for Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten free very well.

My friend and I had a lunchtime meal at the Linney on 21st February, and as always the food was amazing. The service was excellent and it is a lovely ambience. Simon and his team work hard to ensure that you get the best dining experience you can get. There is a main menu and there is a special menu daily.

Lovely food, lovely staff, good quiet pub environment. Beautiful building. Tables comfortably spaced. Excellent service. Food of excellent standard and served on appropriate temperature plates. Everywhere very clean. So good I will be going again. We were celebrating a birthday and they spontaneously put a candle on the birthday boy's dessert which was appreciated.

The Linny food is the best in Devon.The staff are very friendly and the food is very tasty and The Linny is right in the heart of a beautiful village

Saturday evening and restaurant was full However the friendly welcoming and down to earth service was excellent Which matched our food which was exceptionally flavoursum and delicious Would highly recommend to friends and family alike

If I could give more stars I would! We visited on valentines evening, had been once before and I have to say from the welcome to the incredible food and waitress that was super attentive (lovely Italian lady sorry didn’t catch your name) the whole experience was perfect for us. I have already spoken to 5 people this morning to tell them to go! Will be back!

Excellent food and service as usual. You can always rely on the Linny for quality food , well cooked and delicious! The old English filet steak just melts in your mouth and the tempura scallops on the specials menu were really well cooked.

Lovely atmosphere in this country restaurant. Am a regular. Plenty of choice on the menu and has daily specials. Staff friendly. Would recommend.
