The Little Bastion Restaurant offers guests a feast of the senses. Accommodating a total of diners, the intimate atmosphere allows for a soft and warm feeling, leaving guests wanting to explore the intensity of flavours presented in each of the dishes on offer.

Drawing on its history, the restaurants’ gastronomical concept takes on the vast history of the Maltese Islands and takes you on a culinary journey across the world.

The menu, offered for breakfast and dinner includes contemporary Mediterranean dishes with a local touch and only using the finest local and seasonal produce and ingredients.

Dining al fresco is definitely the order of the day, especially in the warmer months, when the imposing bastions, the fortified city of Birgu, and the spectacular harbour are illuminated by traditional Festa firework displays.

Perfection. The staff was incredible. Very professional welcoming. The ambience was lovely. And the food was incredible. Everything tasted fresh and the sirloin tasted amazing. Choose the dessert wisely wisely as they are all really well made and incredible and you wouldn't want to share!

Great experience at Little Bastion. Sitting on the bay in Valletta Malta was beautiful. Great drinks and bar bites. I would recommend it to anyone.

We all really enjoyed the evening we had at "Little Bastion" We were treated like Royalty! The staff, the service, the food and ambience was just amazing. Our friends, who were visiting, said it was their favourite place they dined at. My partner is a vegan, albeit a fussy one and he did enjoy his meal. May I suggest that with the main meal perhaps add in some protein, like tofu just for an for example? We will certainly be back. I was especially pleased as I was first taken there 3 years ago when it was still Hammetts. I really hoped it would still live up to my expectations as that was a wonderful night, but it was even better. Thank you.

Delicious food in a beautiful setting with fantastic service from all staff who took the time to engage with us and made us feel very welcome. This was our last dinner date whilst visiting Malta so we chose something a little special. We were not disappointed and a special shout out to Kenzo who looked after us. I would definitely recommend a visit to The Little Bastion for those seeking something a little special and as I have a shellfish allergy it was lovely to have a menu with more than one option for me to choose from. Beautiful view from the outside dining area.
