   The Log Cabin has exceptional staff and food. I never cease to leave without a full belly and a good time. I highly recommend to anyone!

   Went to this restaurant after looking at the amazing reviews and ratings. Multiple people had told us it is a lovely place and the food is delicious. To our surprise, the food was average. I don’t think the price of the food was worth it. The steak for $62 was so chewy, that I was chewing three times as long just to be able to swallow a piece. When the food was served, after waiting a good 30 minutes (the table next to us also complained about how long it was taking to get their meals), our waiter never came back to ask us how our food was or if we needed anything. When we were finished we sat there for about it 5 minutes until she came to collect our plates and then we waited again for her to come back with dessert menus. She did stop back and ask hour our desserts were. The quickest thing we had was getting our card charged. We had our CC ready when she came to us with the check and she swiped it and gave it back within minutes. Also, being May 24th, it was pretty chilly that day and they had the AC blowing on us where we sat. FYI don’t sit in the booth, unless you enjoy sitting straight up against a flat wooden booth. The booths were made when the place was built years ago. This is a once and done place for us. It’s pretty though.

   No complaints. We frequent here 2-3 times a year. Service, food and atmosphere are outstanding. Nice there is piano/music while waiting for your table as well as an evening drink while waiting. Top notch dining delight.

   The food was very good, as was the wine. The whole experience would have been much better if the restaurant hadn’t completely messed up my reservation. This was my husband’s 75th birthday. I selected the room I wanted on Open Table and even called the restaurant to ask if we could sit near a window and to make sure they knew what an important event it was. They sat me in a different room that had no windows. I told them that was not what I reserved and they sat us in the gable room. So instead of having a lovely view, we got to see the roof. Very, very disappointed.

   We celebrated our 59th wedding anniversary with a wonderful dinner at the Log Cabin. The ambience was delightful and the food was wonderful. My husband's Seafood Primavera was so good I had to actively compete with it to keep his attention! We opted to chat with nearby tables and they actively participated. Our waiter, Christian, was a delight and contributed to a great evening out. It's not cheap, but it's great! We'll be back.

   Enjoyed a very nice couples dinner here this week, on a quiet Tuesday. The Calamari Appetizer totally lives up to it's reputation- it is hands down the best I've ever had. Even though I didn't have the oysters during this visit- I did have a business dinner here about a month ago, and had the oysters then. Another best-ever experience. Five stars all around for food, services, ambiance, etc. Undoubtedly one of the (if not the) finest dining experience in the Lancaster PA region.
