We all know what makes a good pub - decent drinks, good food and lovely people.

We believe that we've taken all of those things and put them in to The Lord Combermere, situated in the beautiful Cheshire village of Audlem.

You can expect a warm welcome, wonderful wine, real ales and tasty food. We welcome families with our arms wide open! And dogs are allowed in the bar area.

This is a pub definitely worth visiting. We went for lunch and enjoyed good food and good service. We were welcomed as we arrived and we're quickly served with drinks. The menu was sufficiently varied and the food quality of our choices was excellent. The value for money was good. The ambience was pleasant; it was Saturday lunchtime and not very busy. There is a car park although it is not very large. However, there is a public car park less than 5 minutes walk away.

There were five of us, everyone had something different and one of the party needed something that wasn't in the menu. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and service was excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

We ate here twice over the weekend and enjoyed both meals. The service is very good.

Unfortunately loud ‘music’ was playing right next to the dining room as part of the Music Festival which meant a relaxed conversation was impossible.

Service was slower than normal due to The Audlem Music Festival. However staff were friendly and apologetic for the delay. Food was delicious as usual and we will be back

Staff were very friendly and helpful, they answered our questions when we had queries about items on the menu. Food was excellent and good value. Drinks a touch expensive.

We’d eaten twice before at the pub and were impressed, however, the last time, even though we had exactly the same meal as before, the food was not as good this time. The chicken starter was tasteless, the battered cod was not great, too greasy and very salty. My partner chose Eton Mess which consisted of meringue and synthetic cream, which was disappointing. The cost of the meal was too high for the quality of food. We wondered if the chef in this particular night was different.
