We had a really wonderful evening. We sat on the front balcony - the noise level was fairly low, the lighting was nice and we had freshvair andva cool breeze. We were decided that we'd enjoy the evening and had a good catch up, so it didn't matter too much that the service was particularly slow. To be fair, I think this is not the norm. The waitress, we overheard, was still in training, and others, we observed, received their meals in good time. When I spoke up we received apologies, but even so, after ordering, the meal was slow. The meal was delicious and given our mood and conversation, and some very nice wine, it was worth the wait. I must add that the young waitress was lovely, and we also really liked the drinks waiter. He was honest about his areas of not knowing, friendly and pretty attentive.

Loved our dinner. The oysters with the pineapple, ginger, mint & granita were amazing. Totally recommend these. Mains were really good, my choice of the Seafood Medley was perfect. Would totally recommend trying it.

Thanks to the Ballina Manor for helping my family celebrate a lovely birthday evening for my wife. The service was absolutely amazing from the moment we stepped on to the verandah. The drinks were perfect, the meals were mouthwatering, and we were never rushed or over served in any way. Coming from a background in good old five-star hospitality in the 80's and 90's (when one person could wait on 5 tables at a time, never miss an order, able to remember more than 5 drink orders and deliver them in a respectable time and ensure the clients were kept very, very comfortable) we were so happy to see this same level of hospitality in such a beautiful, ambient establishment. There is no other establishment that comes within a whisker of Ballina Manors experience and location in the Northern Rivers

We had a wonderful experience the food was excellent and the staff were attentive,extremely helpful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend anyone to enjoy the experience.

Superb service, charming hostess, outstanding menu, fine wine list, friendly staff... all up, as good as ever I have experience in Melbourne's finest restaurants, and the perfect venue to take a lady... Well done to the Manor.... We'll be back... :)

We really enjoyed our meal at the Manor House Ballina. Our Tommy Margaritas till at the bar were wonderful and very refreshing Then on to our meal which combined the freshest of ingredients with really innovative and delicious flavours to result in an absolutely fantastic meal

We have been to Ballina Manor a few times, being an Historic house, it's cosy, with a courtyard and veranda. The a modern menu show cases the excellent quality of local produce. The wine list is very good, the staff are professional, helpful and polite. All round a great dining experience. The prices are reasonable.
