   We initially ate here for lunch which was so nice we decided to return for the evening meal. Starters were huge well worth the money prawn and crayfish cocktail was very fresh and the calamari was so good and plenty on the plate. We were not disappointed with the mains either, very good value for money steak was done as requested and the Hake was really tasty. If I was in Salcombe again would definitely return.

   We had a lovely meal at The Marine for my son’s 18th Birthday. It was quiet in the restaurant as it was a cold Monday night, but the barman/waiter was brilliant and more than made up for it. The food was delicious and really huge portions - which is great with 2 hungry teenagers to feed. The barman even brought out the cake singing Happy Birthday- it was brilliant! Thanks for a lovely evening!

   We had a lovely meal for our mums birthday. The food was great and the service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend. Also, a lovely view of the sea from our table.

   Our table all enjoyed their meals. Absolutely delicious and well presented. Excellent service by the waiter and waitress who were very helpful. Highly recommend a visit.

   Customer service and food excellent. Atmosphere relaxed and informal, staff know their stuff, work very hard to keep everyone happy. Menu choices good, portions just right. Really impressed. Will definitely return.

    Excellent, helpful and personable service Good selection of fresh fish from daily specials Tasty, home cooked food served on lovely hot plates Individual Food preferences taken into account Ambience could be improved by more peripheral lighting.
