Inspired by Moroccan architecture and the Greek Islands, The Mez Club opened its doors in September 2016 and is renowned for its beautiful styling and feel good vibe. The Mez Club was designed to offer locals and tourists alike a beautiful and feel good meeting place which has a flexible menu, that works for both grazing and dining. The upstairs space known as The Souk has been designed specifically to care for parties and group events. We welcome you and your friends to join us in enjoying our restaurant and of course, beautiful Byron Bay.

    Todo bien sólo que nos tocó en la Terraza y son bancos y no sillas. Dentro si se veía muy cómodo.

    Beautiful food and gorgeous decor. Friendly helpful service. Mocktails are pricey but delicious. 3rd time dinning here and never disappoints. A must do when in Byron

    Great venue , food was fantastic with a great host and table staff . My wife and I had 2 enter share plates , the prawns and halloumi , followed my the main lamb dish which was just perfect with roasted carrots as a side dish . For desert we shared the baklava . Enjoyed dinner so much we plan to be back before we leave Byron as there are other dishes we want to try . Definitely worth a visit .

    Came here last night and cannot fault anything. We had a cocktail each (all delicious) the crudo fish of the day (tuna) olives, chicken tagine, grain salad and Moroccan carrots. Everything was perfect and cannot fault a single thing. All the flavours went together amazingly. Service and ambiance was great as well :)

    Such a cool vibe, it’s comfortable. Everyone was so lovely and helpful. And the food was incredible! Can’t fault a single thing

    Wow! The Mez Club did not disappoint! Amazing experience. Amazing food and amazing staff, especially Alisha! She took extra care and consideration for all of our needs. We felt amazing when we left with our full belly’s. Thank you so much, we will be back again when we come back to Byron! Heather and family xx

    Relaxed friendly atmosphere with excellent service and food. Our server, although only on her first day at Metz, knew the menu very well and made some excellent suggestions. All in all a very good experience.

    My son and I had a great experience at the Mez in early Feb 2025. Excellent service, good wine, fantastic tasty food and really good vibe, including cool DJ’ed music. Loved the place.

    Beautiful restaurant,fabulous food. Great drinks. Meze larger sharing menu excellent except tiny dessert to share amongst 3 people. Hard to divide 2 small pieces of pineapple amongst 3 with a spoon. Ashame when dessert should have been a highlight.
