   We had a lovely Cheshire Burger and Lamb Henry for my Son’s Birthday Lunch. They don’t have Mint Sauce to go with the Lamb Henry which a big disappointment. I possibly wouldn’t have ordered the Lamb, had I been aware. The service was a little slow with about 20-25 mins between the Starter and the Main which resulted in me having to enquire where our Main was.

   Fabulous Food in Fabulous surroundings and very attentive and courteous staff. Exemplary service.

   if you want to eat out in Chester Zoo, and you don't want fast food, the Oakfield is the place to go! Helpful staff, interesting menu, freshly cooked food, good ambience!

   Amazing service, amazing food - small range of options, but all executed fantastically. However it was so cold as everyone kept leaving the doors open it made it an uncomfortable visit. Such a shame

   Booked a table online after being told on the phone that they were fully booked on Saturday 15th ‘ March. We were seated immediately after arrival Even though we were a little early. Ordering and arrival of food was seamless our waitstaff member was very kind and brought my sister a glass of Prosecco after we had let her know it was my sisters birthday- a very kind gesture and unexpected.

   Amazing welcoming staff . Food delivered super quick and was delicious excellent menu . Ambience first class . Lovely waiting staff

   We had booked a table for 12.15 and arrived a few minutes before that time and were seated immediately with menus. The restaurant was not particularly busy at that time, but we were completely ignored. After 25 minutes (in which time at least two other tables who had arrived after us had placed their food and drink orders) we got up to leave. A young waitress stood by the till and watched us put on our coats but made no effort to come over or to apologise about the wait. We felt very uncomfortable as we left, but we had looked forward to tasty lunch and poor service had spoiled our day out.

   The service was excellent. Ambience very good.My choice of food was a mistake on my part.Would recommend place to anyone. The overall experience was a delight.

   Friendly service, tasty food and a good selection of drinks. Not the cheapest menu, but piping hot food. Would recommend

    The "small plates" were smaller than expected but everything else was fabulous.
