    We have been coming here for years as the food is excellent. Had the barramundi yesterday and it was the most delicate that I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the bruschetta is no longer value for money. It used to be 3 pieces about a year ago, reduced to 2 since then and now you basically get 1 and 1/2 so it is not a dish for sharing any longer. Wine selection is great and cocktails are amazing with a special cocktail usually available. Lastly, make sure you book early on days they have special themes running otherwise you too could be seated in the hallway!

    My spouse and I celebrated Valentines Day by savouring the Prawn Festival at The Old England Hotel. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection.

    Opting for the dining room with it’s 10% fee was a good choice although the ambience would’ve been enhanced by drawing the drapes between the bistro and dining room. The noise level would have been better. Two roasts from which to choose is apparently a Sunday bonus. I chose the loin of pork which came with gorgeous veggies and plenty of gravy. Never bother with apple sauce as I’ve never enjoyed it. My preference, that’s all. As non drinkers per se, we decided to try a mocktail each. Poor decision. We should’ve stuck with our usual tap water!! Excellent waitress. Thanks Lilly. Good value for money and certainly worth the 10% impost.

    A great menu as usual and the specials were many and varied.i chose the roast duck which was delicious and the vegetables fresh and spectacular

    A family get together of 9 people seated around a circular table in quiet, pleasant settings with excellent service and great food. What more could you ask for?

    Went for dinner with my wife and daughter. Have not been here for a while. Wife and daughter had chicken Parma. My daughter said it was worst she’d ever eaten. I had fish and chips. Garden salad on all meals drowned in too much dressing. Garlic bread provided was too much, about 10 slices. It was hard to break up as well. It was a disappointing experience as we have always had good meals here in the past.
