   First visit here and we will be back! Lovely food and friendly staff. We had the breakfast bun and the halloumi with smoked beans. Delicious!

   As usual, the food, service and ambience were top notch. I am so fortunate that this venue is 'on my doorstep'. As a vegetarian, I used to have to travel far to find a restaurant that offered perfectly cooked, imaginative vegetarian dishes. Not any more!

   As ever great food and service on an exceptionally busy Sunday lunchtime. Only minor thing to spoil our enjoyment was yappy dogs at another table. Loved our "best seat in the house " window table over looking Main Street. Also loving the new addition of tortilla crisps to the open sandwiches. Until next time.

    Loved the food. Big fan of the Hawthorn so wanted to try their new venue. Quite simply the service let it down. We weren’t asked if we wanted a desert or other drinks - we asked for more drinks. It was clear staff wanted to go home. I get it my son is a chef we are well aware of the hours worked but even so. I know our booking was late in the evening but that’s the time we needed , it was offered - be prepared that you might have to work a little later. Overall we wouldn’t let it stop us goings again , we’d hope for a different experience. That said our guests that were with us were very happy with my choice of restaurant.
