   We booked for Sunday lunch.After a long wait (although first in) we had obviously been forgotten.I had very tasty roast beef. Vegetables were wonderful. The beef would be better cut thin as being cut thick it was difficult to cut and my teeth had difficulty chewing it which spoilt the meal. The cauliflower cheese ordered as extra, was almost cold and hardly cooked so we couldn’t cut the stalks plus the cheese sauce was thin watery with cheese grated on the top so I cannot recommend buying as an extra. The meal was not that hot generally upon presentation. Put right I would recommend. The manager was not very welcoming and I felt he didn’t really want to be there.

   Amazing food and really friendly service with a cozy atmosphere. Sunday roast was great

   Breakfast for 2 on a Saturday morning, perfect. Friendly staff with a friendly welcome.

   Very helpful and friendly staff, excellent food and lots of it. Extremely quiet for a Friday night which surprised me. Stayed over in my van and facilities were good, warm and clean. Easy access straight into the moor. Decent breakfast. Will return.

   If it’s not broken why change ? Poor service met with poor food this is the 3rd time visiting since it’s been taken over. Both waitress kept forgetting our table to the ponit we promoted for service. Kids said pizza was okay but not £17 each worth. We had roast same again okay but not sure why it was felt the veg had to be under cooked it’s a roast for a reason. Decor to modern and they replaced those amazing fires. we used to come here without fail for over 20yrs my wife even came here in her basic training. Please go back to basics that what made you stand out that’s why places like the warren inn will also keep going

   So glad to see this pub open again & serving food. Staff were friendly & helpful. Thank you for a lovely Sunday lunch.

   A warm welcome as you walk into the pub from friendly staff and open fires. The service and the food were excellent. Even the dog got a treat. Would go here again.

    Food was lovely and staff very friendly my only criticism was I had to keep going to the staff to ask for things even tho they were fully staffed. I do know it’s a pub and not a restaurant but thought the service could have been better
