The Point brings the thrill and robust flavors of open flame cooking with the freshest seafood in the city. Perfectly situated at the confluence of the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers, our contemporary design, tranquil open-air patio and premium fire pits, compliment the picturesque and panoramic views. Although we cannot guarantee outdoor patio dining for all of our guests. We will try to accommodate as many requests as we can on a first come first serve basis.

    La comida llegó cruda a la mesa, y el tiempo de espera fue largo. El sabor estaba bueno, pero no tuve una buena primera experiencia. No volvería a reservar en este lugar.

    La hostess me hizo mala cara al llegar por que la cocina la cerraban a las 10 pero la reservación la puse a las 9:30pm. Entonces que no acepten comensales. La comida nada fuera de lo común.

    Great service. Great food. Nice ambience. Noise level wasn’t an issue at all. The price was a bit more than I was expecting but not enough for me to stop coming. I’ll be back for sure.

    I had a great waitress named Nancy, I think. I told her we needed to be done and on our way in an hour. She took care of our every need and made sure we left on time. That made a big difference.

    This was my second visit to The Point. The menu has been updated and remains delicious. The cornbread was amazing. The crab cakes are no joke. I look forward to returning.

    The decor is not great. There’s no theme and it is very bland. Please punch up and do something exotic and chic with that great open space. And the music was horrible especially for Valentine’s Day. It’s okay to go big band or romantic old school R&B. Saving Grace was the service and the food.

    The food was outstanding, the bake apple pie and soft serve ice cream very tasty and the filet mignon very flavorful

    My wife and I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day meal at The Point! The restaurant is a great place to go, giving you a great view of the water. They gave free roses to every woman who came it which was a cool surprise. The atmosphere was very nice. The music wasn’t too loud, there were a lot of cool decorations to look at, and despite being very busy it wasn’t loud or cramped. And the food was amazing. The warm crab donuts were fantastic, the Icelandic cod and crab was delectable, and the fried catfish sandwich was amazing. And if that wasn’t enough, the coconut cake and chocolate praline desserts were incredible. It was an amazing meal and we will definitely be back!
