THE PORT HOUSE
DUBLIN & LONDON
Opened first in 2006 we realised we had something special in our little cave on South William Street in Dublin 2! Twelve months later, we opened another little cave in Temple Bar and our third in a cottage in Dundrum Town’s Centre’s Pembrook District.



After three successful restaurants and seven years of hard work and saving our pocket money, we decided we were grown up enough to hit London in search of fame and fortune down the West End of Covent Garden, where we hope to get a small bit part alongside Jude Law!



In 2019, we were delighted to announce that we opened our fifth location in Camden Street, Dublin 2. Which is an incredibly diverse area that gives us the opportunity to present our tapas, ports and wines with a focus on Cava that does not receive the attention it deserves.

    Food ok, service was slow, toilets were like what you would expect in a night club(unclean and in need of modernisation)

    I usually wouldn't do Tapas but The Port House in Dundrum had an great selection of meats and cheeses which suited us down to the ground. Lovely wine selection. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Note: the tables are definitely cosy so it's a tight enough squeeze getting in and out!

    Food is always lovely in Port House. Very fresh and delicious. Portions are small. However it's a disappointment when the things are not available. We couldn't get wine we wanted, the restaurant run out of dessert we ordered, and the other desserts came with different toppings than on the menu. We also had to attract the staff attention multiple times for orders and water refills. Overall 4/5.

    Excellent as always. Never had a bad meal, food always very high standard. Especially catering for one of our party who is coeliac.
