   The overall experience was good. I will rate each of the dishes we (my wife and I had). Shrimp Aquachili - presentation: excellent. Taste: Cilantro and lime were overpowering. I would not order this again. Tuna sashimi bombs - presentation: top notch. Taste/texture: rice cake at bottom was overcooked, almost like it was deep fried a second time. Steak tartare - presentation: beautiful. Taste/texture: The star of the show. we frequently order this plate in many restaurants and this one was up there in terms of seasoning, taste and value. Crab cakes - presentation: 4* Taste/texture: shared "star of the show" with the steak tartare. Fried to perfection. Lots of crab. very tasty. Service was excellent. Would we return? yes

   We went for Mother’s Day, live in Clarksburg but had never been to The Port. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed at the quality of the food! Ordered the rib eye steak to be done medium rare and was PERFECTLY done. The prime rib sandwich was large and was “absolutely one of THE best roast beef sandwiches ever”. Salmon Eggs Benedict was also fantastic. We will definitely go back especially when the weather warms up for the patio.

   Lovely lunch at the Port Tavern. Both the indoor and outdoor space is great. The service was great and the food delicious. Can’t beat the location. Overall, a great Mothers Day lunch

   We were 3 adults and one child , our young waiter was very friendly ! We were not offered a kids menu … As we placed our orders , our starter was timely served . After waiting for at least 30 min, I asked our waiter to try to expedite my grandson’s dinner … we ( adults) waited for another 45 min to being served ! This was totally unacceptable, upon asking for the bill, I mentioned the disappointment to our server. Our shareable starters were compt, which we appreciated. That same location, has had many turnovers in recent years, would be nice if they can get their act together !

   Salmon and shaved beef were ordered at our table, along with truffle fries and Caesar salad. All were excellent. We will definitely return. Staff were all very pleasant

   Our best endorsement of the Port Tavern is that it's become our go-to restaurant: the food is always excellent, the staff are both friendly and professional and the overall ambience is very comfortable. In total they provide a high quality experience without the pretension so often associated with restaurants who to try to present themselves as chic or classy. Shout outs to our server last night, Isaac and the hostess Charlie - thanks again guys!

   What a great place to have dinner with friends or your loved one. Food was fantastic quiet enough to hear your dinner partner (s). Can’t wait to get out on the patio this summer. Our server was very good. Attentive but not hovering around often yeti look after our needs.

    Amazing service and food was great. Oysters, clams, pickerel was delicious. Caesar salad is not on the regular menu and it should be- delicious!!
