   Food was excellent, very nice presentation. Value for $, less impressed. Caesar salad for 2 was very good but could have served 3 or 4 - perhaps cut down on quantity and lower the price a bit. Given the overall prices, a small basket of fresh bread would also have been appropriate.

   Although the rating describes noise level as "energetic", that makes it sound like a positive - it was not. It's a beautiful spot with great food and service, however, last evening it felt like a Kelsey's or some type of roadhouse. Very loud acoustics...doesn't go with the decor and what I thought was the desired ambiance at this restaurant.

   We decided to give The Port a try, and made reservations to celebrate our anniversary. The service and food, were both excellent. Service: polite, attentive, and genuine Food: delicious. We had the ceaser salad for 2, and it was by far the best one I’ve had. I ordered the sirloin, and it was perfectly cooked and flavourful. My partner ordered the salmon and it was also cooked perfectly. Ambience: clean, cheerful, not overly done, and comfortable. It was nice to see people of all ages enjoying their time with friends and family over a nice dinner. We plan to return in July, for a special occasion. Thank you for paying attention to our anniversary, it was a nice surprise to see the little sign at our table, and very unexpected. The Port does it right.

   This was my first time at The Port and it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious and perfectly executed. The oysters were the best - from PEI of course! And our server was excellent. It was her first shift, but we couldn’t tell. Highly recommend this place.

   Great service and food was very good. Pork chop was outstanding although I could use a little less sauce on it. The salmon was very good and cooked perfectly- ie just barely medium. Wish for a few more wine choices by the glass. Because go an often, we hope for more specials to expand menu choices.

   The overall experience was good. I will rate each of the dishes we (my wife and I had). Shrimp Aquachili - presentation: excellent. Taste: Cilantro and lime were overpowering. I would not order this again. Tuna sashimi bombs - presentation: top notch. Taste/texture: rice cake at bottom was overcooked, almost like it was deep fried a second time. Steak tartare - presentation: beautiful. Taste/texture: The star of the show. we frequently order this plate in many restaurants and this one was up there in terms of seasoning, taste and value. Crab cakes - presentation: 4* Taste/texture: shared "star of the show" with the steak tartare. Fried to perfection. Lots of crab. very tasty. Service was excellent. Would we return? yes

   We went for Mother’s Day, live in Clarksburg but had never been to The Port. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed at the quality of the food! Ordered the rib eye steak to be done medium rare and was PERFECTLY done. The prime rib sandwich was large and was “absolutely one of THE best roast beef sandwiches ever”. Salmon Eggs Benedict was also fantastic. We will definitely go back especially when the weather warms up for the patio.

   Lovely lunch at the Port Tavern. Both the indoor and outdoor space is great. The service was great and the food delicious. Can’t beat the location. Overall, a great Mothers Day lunch
