   One of the very best restaurants in Charlotte. We eat here on a regular basic.

   The food and service were great! The desserts…horrible. Tasted like frozen grocery store cake. It was dry and cold!

   Our reservation was for a special event (‘Par-Tee’) the Porter’s House held celebrating the PGA Championship being held here in Charlotte. It was fun and well orqanized, with a pop-up putt putt course outside, 2 drink tickets provided per person (including some featured cocktails) and some tasty small bites (sliders, shrimp, pickled veggies) for the $45 admission charge. The staff was friendly, the service efficient, and we joined 2 other couples and all really enjoyed the afternoon and unique event.

   Our server was very attentive, the ribeye was done perfectly, and the carrot cake was wonderful.

   I love going to the porter house. Food and drinks are always incredible. The service is impeccable. We went for Mother’s Day and to celebrate a soccer win for our son and they went above and beyond!

   Took my mom here for Mother’s Day. We sat in the back room, thankfully it was not overly loud and we were able to have an actual conversation. Our waitress was wonderful, helpful with suggestions of what to order and answering all of our questions. Our appetizer was wonderful and main course was also very good! Will definitely be coming back here.

    We are at the Porters House for Mother’s Day brunch. However, the Mother’s Day brunch was not really a brunch at all. The menu was extremely limited and they were not flexible in accommodating any changes or additions to the brunch menu items. We were not requesting drastic changes; for example, they had steak and eggs with eggs cooked over medium. We requested the eggs to not have the runny yolk and were told that they could not do that. Also, they had crab cakes on the normal menu; however, were unwilling to do crab cakes and eggs (with the runny yolk). This was extremely disappointing. The food was okay; however, the inflexible menu really soured the experience.
