Après Ski Lodge Bar & Lounge Experience @ The Press Room - 2nd Floor of the AC Hotel Greenville (entry through Camperdown Plaza at Juniper entrance) Opening in November.

Located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Greenville, SC, this modern speakeasy offers an intimate and unique cocktail bar experience. The Press Room was designed to honor Greenville’s history and incorporates cherished relics from The Greenville News. From its entrance, evoking an editor’s room, to a menu featuring signature drinks inspired by the newspaper, The Press Room pays tribute to The Greenville News, which stood on the hotel site for more than 75 years.

The Press Room is known for its seasonal pop-up bar experiences and will be launching The Ski Lodge concept from November throughout the winter.

We highly enjoyed everything about the place!! Will definitely be returning n a regular basis Very fun and something different it’s not just a bar definitely elevated experience

It used to be a great place to go when it was personable and customizable. The bartender would curate a drink to your flavor profile. It also felt secret when the code was emailed prior to reservation. Now the drinks aren’t that exciting, there’s a hostess for the code and the staff interaction was lackluster. Bring back the original feel.

Came here several years ago on a girls trip and was excited to take my husband - came last night and it was not even close to what it used to be. The drinks were good. And the bartender was great, however you had to get up to order drinks/food and they would bring to you. The food was awful. They did not charge us, and while I appreciate them making it right - the food was inedible. The meat was discolored and the soup was cold. The ski lodge theme was a little cheesy. Could have been done with a more upscale look- and less dollar store. Overall disappointing and just meh….

If there were zero for stars this place totally deserves negative stars!! The bar tender wanted to serve me a 7 day old wine which was labeled on the back of the bottle. WHO serves left over stale wine after 3 days? I politely asked to try a fresh bottle to taste. She refused and was COMPLETELY RUDE & Hostile stating she would not open a bottle to taste. I had to buy a glass or nothing! We have to put credit cards down to enter this over priced, bad wine establishment AND get treated & scolded like a child for wanting fresh wine. Unbelievable!! There are too many other great establishments for speak easy’s & fun bars, then to come here to have a BAR TENDER talk down to me. RUN!!!

We did not have dinner here, just cocktails. A very nice, cozy cocktail bar. Prices are on par with other bars.

Underwhelming. The modern take on a speakeasy was a miss for me. Didn't really give speakeasy vibes. It would have been nice to have someone take your drink order AND bring the drink to you. Limited food menu, but full bar.

Make a reservation!!! Our party of 4 were the only ones there from 5 pm to 6 pm and they turned away walk-ins because others had later reservations. The place is great and worth going. But MAKE A RESERVATION!!!!!
