If you’re looking for a warm welcome and a cosy atmosphere, look no further than The Red Cow – a delightful thatched country pub located in the charming village of Chrishall.

The Red Cow pub is now run by a Top 50 gastro food an award-winning chef, who brings a wealth of culinary expertise to the kitchen, having spent five years as Head Chef at the award winning pub The Hole In The Wall in Little Wilbraham, Cambridge before moving on to become Head Chef at The Elm Tree Inn, Elm, Cambridgeshire .

Tryfun’s reputation for creating immaculately presented and flavourful dishes helped both pubs to gain the most popular gastropubs in and around Cambridge.

    Me and my husband had a lovely dinner here. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and tentative, and the pub had a lovely cosy atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back soon!

    We had a lovely family meal at the Red Cow. Nice to find somewhere open on a Monday. Food was delicious, service was great and there was a lovely open fire. Would happily come back to eat here again.

    Lovely village pub. Excellent food and service, difficult to fault in any way. Came to the Red cow to meet friends as it was half way between us. They agreed the best meal we have had recently and nice to have some different things on the menu to normal pubs. Will definitely visit again as would like to try some of the other items on the menu.

    Food was lovely and plentiful. Really flavoursome. We had the mushrooms and chicken wings for starters and teriyaki chicken for mains. We stayed there night and had breakfast which again was very tasty with locally sourced food. Highly recommended.
