   As always the Sunday Roast was outstanding. Service was slick and not overbearing

   Belated Mother’s Day lunch with my sister and mum . A good range of roast dinners , Turkey and beef were our choices, all served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and pigs in blankets … two additional dishes with cabbage , carrots and green beans . We also had a gravy boat on the table. The turkey was moist and my Mum said her beef was tender . I was driving but there was a good range of all the usual wines. Mum and my sister happy with their choices of Shiraz and a Rioja. Great food and service definitely recommend a visit .

   We went for Sunday lunch on a journey back to London from the West Country. This place is well-located, being just a couple of miles from a M4 junction. The menu was simple but we got what we were looking for: a very good traditional Sunday roast lunch I can recommend this restaurant.

   A lovely meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. A busy pub which was good to see and for a birthday treat was just what I was looking for. The only thing I would say is the overall cost. For my birthday then it was OK but if you went for a meal that wasn't for a special occasion then it was expensive.

    Celebrating a 25th Wedding Anniversary with friends. Two of the party had 8ox fillet steaks which were superb. Would recommend the Pak Choi & Tenderstem Brocolli just delicious. Two of the party had Tapas dishes. A very enjoyable evening as always.
