Excellent food at the Rum Fox, with lovely staff , probably slightly more expensive than other restaurants, lovely waitresses looking after us. It was a very enjoyable evening , one negative issue nothing to do with place or staff, customers on table close by were quite loud and their conversation could be heard throughout the bar area.

Lovely food and welcome. Looked after from the moment we arrived. Not the cheapest but delicious meal and celebration for my husbands birthday. We ate in the bar as not so keen on more formal dining - it was perfect for us.

Lovely birthday meal for two. Delicious food, good service and great with allergies. Not cheap but would always recommend and return.

We entered into the bar area that was heated by wood burner that was most welcoming . We chose to eat in that area as felt very comfortable and toasty. We chose to eat off the set menu for our midweek meal , the choices were innovative and tastes clean and delicious for all three courses! This is such a high standard it has left us wanting to come back and try the a la carts menu .. we had a superb white Rioja to accompany the meal . The Rum Fox is definitely a destination for foodies and the countryside surrounding was stunning .

Very nice place, and staff. Food tasty. Some of the veg was quite cold, and thought the gravy was a bit congealed.

Best food I’ve had for a while . Quality tasty food and service good . Wine and cocktail selections great . Nice decor . Would certainly recommend and will return . 7 course Xmas eve taster menu was divine , really enjoyed it . So tasty .
