This trendy, romantic restaurant and wine lounge serves guests (21+) with an elegant, yet relaxed, ambiance for dining and wine tasting. We offer more than 50 local boutique wines by the glass, and in our luscious tasting flights, so guests can sample many unique wines all under one chandelier. We offer full service dinner and lunch menus Tues-Sat, and heaty bar fare, including hearty cheese & charcuterie, hummus, pita and veggies, olives, and nuts every day.

Reserve the most romantic table in the Napa Valley in our cozy, candlelit 1905 bank vault. For groups (up to 12) reserve the winemaker’s table, in our elegant, stone-walled speakeasy cellar

Include your preferred dinning experience in your booking notes. All guests must be 21 and over.

Note: For parties of 6 or more guests, we require one tab and check out. We kindly request cancellation 48 hours prior to your scheduled reservation and a credit card is required to hold your group reservation.

Our fine dining menu is available Tuesday through Saturday. On Sunday and Monday, we offer a "wine friendly" menu curated to pair with wines from more than 50 local wineries. Our Sunday and Monday menu includes hearty cheese and charcuterie boards, organic hummus pita and veggies, nuts and olives. Reserve our Winemaker's Cellar for up to 12 and our 1905 Vault for 4 - and enjoy an intimate and romantic experience, surrounded by candelabras, mirrors and velvet chairs. I'll keep this brief and just note specifics. 1. Cuisine. Disappointing. My chopped salad was brand and the grilled chicken was dry, not at all worth $38. My wife had the roasted chicken breast and requested mashed potatoes instead of Yukon potatoes. Not a big deal but a simple request that was over looked and by the time the mashed potatoes arrived she was almost finished. 2. Noise level. The Saint is a very small establishment with a bar area (noise reverberates). There was group of 3-4 very loud guests at the bar. Normally this is not an issue for us but considering we were celebrating our anniversary and the profanity being used at the bar, it distracted from the dining experience. 3. The menu notes a 20% gratuity will be included in the bill. I don't appreciate being required to tip 20%. "A gratuity is a discretionary, additional payment on top of a check total given as a token of gratitude for good service and great hospitality." I've been in the service industry for over 25 years and understand the significance of a gratuity and will happily tip accordingly. The host mentioned the 20% while showing us the bill and coyly added we could add more if we desired. Seriously! In summary, a very bad dining experience. Your time and money would be better given to other dining establishments in the area.

Joe, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thorough review. I'm so sorry that our food and service fell so far short of our standards, especially on your anniversary. I'm sure it was disappointing. I informed Chef of your feedback on the salad and chicken and the missed mashers which were clearly noted on the order we placed with the kitchen. I know he takes such feedback very seriously. The Service Charge was applied in error and I've refunded it along with the rest of your check. Thank you again for your feedback. It helps us continually improve our guest experience.

The Saint is a Saint Helena gem, with amazing boutique wines from small producers not widely found on wine lists, and fantastic food from Market next door, another Saint Helena gem. Stephanie at the bar was warm and attentive, and fun to chat with. The lounge vibe makes The Saint a great place to just hang out, especially on a slow night; you won't be hurried out the door and can usually meet a few other locals stopping in for an after work cocktail or fine glass of wine.

Courtney - thank you for your detailed review. Although 1 star reviews are painful to read, the detailed content helps us improve our operations and guest experience. In our 7 years in business, we've been humbled by many 5 star reviews and a few on the other end. I try to learn from all of them and make necessary changes. We have addressed some of your concerns. We now have 8 purse hooks under the bar. We've also retrained our new staff members on leaving the cork at the table with the bottle. This is our procedure, as is placing utensils at each setting upon arrival and refreshing them as needed throughout the meal. Obviously, we fell short of that standard when you were there. We're working on the rest. I'm glad you enjoyed the salmon! Heidi (owner)

We had a dinner reservation for my husband and I at 5 pm on Saturday. It was not crowded at all. It was our first time. Our server, Amanda, kind of took away a good experience for us. For the first time in my life, I had to repeat my order 4 times in the span of 30 minutes. Not sure if she was going through a rough day or a health issue. But I was shocked when I had to repeat my order to her every 5-10 minutes. It's ok not being able to memorize. But I would have just written down at that point. It's quite embarrassing to be in the service industry and have this type of behavior. It was almost like she didn't really listen to anything we said for drinks, food etc. I told her I am vegetarian and she asked me if I wanted chicken in my food order. On top of it, we had to wait 20 minutes just to get our wine. We could physically see the glasses were poured, but she forgot to bring those to us. Overall, the service was kind of meh for how low crowded time we were there. I don't think I would eat at this restaurant again.

Owner Heidi and her staff took amazing care of us! Beautiful spot, chic atmosphere, perfectly decorated warm and cozy private room, amazing cocktails, great wine and enjoyed our dinner!

Harsh was attentive, friendly and provided excellent service. We had requested the vault room when we made rsvp but upon arrival were told it had been already booked. We were shown a back room which was a very good alternative. Menu a bit abbreviated but food was tasty.

First time, and totally recommend here. We were there on a Saturday evening when there was live music as well. Food was delicious, Best gnocchi I have had - they were so light. We had crab cakes, burrata, salad with fillet and fries and a delicious crème brûlée. Connected with the Market next but a more intimate setting I felt.

Great dinner at Saint after a Christmas Concert. We enjoyed a lovely Schramsberg sparkling wine and a bottle of Howell Mountain Petite Verdot paired with hamburgers and roast chicken with garlic mashed potatoes.

We enjoyed my daughter in laws birthday lunch at The Saint. We had a swanky private room at the back of the wine bar. The food was very good. The service staff were helpful. It was easy to make a reservation for our party of 10.
