   Food was really good. The only problem was they didn't have the 2 kinds of wine I asked for.

   Great date spot! The blue cheese cheesecake appetizer and chocolate torte are to die for.

   The service and ambiance were wonderful. The food was unfortunately pretty mediocre. One dish in particular was completely flavorless and required a heavy handed dusting of salt by everyone who had ordered it. Prices were also significantly higher than similar restaurants in Missoula, and did not align to the quality of the dishes/drinks.

   Good food. Kind of close with the tables. Food was quite good but some elements were not very warm. Service attentive and courteous.

   We had an excellent experience at The Stables! The food was prepared well—I had the gnocchi with zucchini. My wife had the foie gras and fritas. We started with the savory cheesecake and I ordered the burrata and beet salad. Both were excellent! Drinks were top notch as well. Speaking of the waitstaff, we had a very excellent waitress, who catered to us timely but not clingy and was very professional as we drank more of their delicious drinks. I highly recommend the pistachio mustachio. If you get the idea we liked it, you are right! We plan on going back as soon as we are able!

   The duck was a tad over done and a bit salty. Wine, cocktails, salmon and steak, great!

   Excellent meal. We decided to have 2 appetizers rather than an entree. Both the bleu cheese cake and the pate duo were excellent and generous. The wine by the glass was a far better than average selection, but expensive. I am very picky about wine, and I would give it a B+. They had numerous other offerings by the bottle. Had I wanted to pay the price I could have had an excellent bottle. Our server, Morgan, was attentive and delightful. This was our second visit, and we will go again.

   My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was perfect. The ambiance was great and wasn't too loud so we enjoyed conversing. Our server (her name currently escapes me, I'm so sorry) was wonderful, attentive even when it got busy, and kind. The food was outstanding! It's worth the splurge as the food and drinks were fabulous. It hit all the right notes and we left very happy. :) We will go back, for sure.

    The food, service, setting were all AMAZING! Going to a nice dinner where the door opens constantly and the February wind is only 2feet from you and your warm food is awful! There need to be drapes or SOMETHING to block the cold. I had Lamb, which was wonderful…and quickly became cold due to the STRONG cold breeze every time the door opened.
