   The food is consistently good. The only criticism I have is that the service can be a bit slow, despite the number of staff on duty. However, this will not deter me from going again.

   Although I fully appreciate it was a Saturday evening, the area of the restaurant in which we were seated was exceptionally loud. As a party of four older diners hoping to catch up over a leisurely meal, we found it almost impossible to hold a conversation and to make matters worse, our table was next to the constantly swinging door to to the kitchen, which resulted in a loud thump every time the very busy serving staff passed through it. An alternative table was requested before seating but we were told there was nothing available. We had booked our table several weeks in advance so our allocated table was very disappointing, Nevertheless, the food was very good. Scallop starters and monkfish mains excellent.

   We have been eating here for many years and it never disappoints. The food was amazing - delicious and beautifully cooked and presented. Service good.

   Went to the Tanning level for our Ruby wedding anniversary because in our opinion it’s the best restaurant in Harrogate and we wasn’t disappointed The service was excellent my wife had the fillet steak which I must admit I had a little food envy it looked and tasted exceptional was the feedback I had the market fish of the day which again looked fantastic and tasted beautiful For deserts we both ordered the pavlova which was to die for All in all the meal was good value food delicious and a lovely setting to celebrate our special day

   I always try and fit a visit in to the tannin level whenever I visit Harrogate . Great food and service would highly recommend

   Great food, many things on the menu I could have gone for. We both just had a main but the starters looked very tempting too. The wine we had was moderately priced and very good. Don't expect a cheap night out but well worth it.

    Excellent food as always. The mid-week early bird menu is very good and very reasonable. Service was efficient, friendly and very helpful.
