    To kickstart Series 4 of Cubitt House Eats With, award-winning author, digital creator and low-waste chef Max La Manna joins us for an unforgettable evening at The Thomas Cubitt. Max’s innovative approach to sustainable cooking promises a feast like no other, complete with a three-course menu crafted to inspire. Enjoy a welcome drink courtesy of Respirited Vodka, feast around shared dining tables in the main dining room and leave with a signed copy of Max’s cookbook. Tickets are £75, with an optional low waste drinks pairing available on the day. A discretionary 15% service charge is applied to the final bill.

    Cena con mi Esposa, el sitio muy agradable, la comida excelente, pudimos disfrutar de unos buenos vinos y una buena conversación. Este restaurante esta muy bien para una cena casual de pareja

    NYE Dreadful food and music debacle. Important point - at 8ish the 4 piece band were setting up and they were ridiculously loud. The drum was actually painful to listen to and the barman, staff and other patrons were commenting on how loud it was. Taken upstairs to dinner at 8.45 and sat at the worst seats. Underneath and beside the serving station bar were all the plates from the dumbwaiter were placed before service. Next to the sink/taps where my wife was splashed by the water at one point and the phone ringing and the bleep for the dumb waiter. Asked to move and they said will be a table at 9 which they did. Sat down and waited 15 minutes to order. Asked for the wine list and had to ask again. Staters - my steak tartare was good but my wife had the prawns which were unpeeled. Why would you serve prawns covered in black char you need to peel on NYE? Then the band started downstairs so loud the sound was reveberating through my chair and my wife and I had to raise our voices to be heard. Mains arrived. My pithivier was find with the meat being quite dry. My wifes turbot was inedible. The fish had bones in every single mouthful. Mentioned to the waiter who kindly brought another piece. This was even worse. You could see the bones sticking out of the fish and on trying it it was all T bone with no edible fish on it. Then the band stopped playing. Puddings arrived - my eccles cake was unfortunately very hard but the flavour was there. My wife had 3 finger sized churros; 2 were hot and one was cold and the dip was watery. Asked for the bill. No reduction so asked for the service to be removed which they did. Asked why the band had stopped and told that the neighbours had complained and they had had to stop. So no live music after dinner as advertised. It was obvious the music was too loud. Also why weren’t we told as we would have gone home but at 11:30 it would be cutting it very fine. Went downstairs and raised and told it was the first time they were doing this.

    We booked a table for the NYE party that was advertised as a band playing in the evening. Whilst the food and service were great there really was no entertainment. The band came on at midnight, sang auld lang syne but you could not hear the singer and then they packed up and left. Totally ruined NYE for me and my family they did not deliver what was promised. Hugely disappointing

    Everything one could hope for from a great Sunday roast, fantastic! Only downside is the room is extremely loud.

    We had a superb Christmas Eve family dinner at the Thomas Cubitt where the service was outstanding and the food delicious. Wonderful friendly attentive staff looked after us all evening. Highly recommend

    Sadly the food was not up to expectation - there was no vegetarian roast, and potatoes could not be made without duck fat which was a shame. They had run out of fries and the veg tasted like it had been warmed in a microwave. The vegetarian option on the menu was okay but not great. Dessert was fair but nothing special. The pub itself was lovely and a nice atmosphere though

    1st visit. Very noisy. Food fairly mediocre. Wine good. Bit disappointed overall.
