   Not very busy but service was good, food was timely and well presented, staff were very helpful. A good experience.

   The best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had away from home! The roast beef was incredible and everything on the plate cooked to perfection. The is our new favourite place!

   Food was great but Open Table let me book a table outside of the hours that food was being served so that wasn't great and nearly cost us our meal. Luckily I noticed in time to change it

   My rib eye steak was very poor quality. Mainly gristle Not good for £30. When asked if the meal was okay when we left, I did tell the management. I also asked for an empty glass to liven up the Amstel lager as it was flat. The young lady who served us was very pleasant. No problem there. My wife’s meal was fine. It was a shame because my first choice the half a chicken on the menu was not available.On reflection I should have told you the problem when I couldn’t cut the steak with a steak knife. To late now.

   A very pretty pub right in the centre of Benson close to the church with a lovely garden out the back with lawn and plenty of tables/chairs. Given that it was 30 degrees yesterday it was a pleasure to sit under the trees. Food was good, French Onion Soup to start, lots of iced drinks and good beef burger and pizza for my co-guest. Definitely worth the drive from west Oxon.

   Lovely roast chicken dinner ample serving, I couldn’t even eat the side dish as I was full. Lovely setting, great service, lovely pub and stunning decor.

    A board outside said "best Sunday Roast in Oxfordshire". It is not. 1 Chicken that had been deepfried# 2 Beef that was overcooked and tough Over cooked vegitables swimming in a pool of cold gravy
