   Although restaurant was half empty we were disappointed that 2 dishes were "off the menu" limiting the already small selection of veggie options formy friend. I opted for fishcakes/poached eggs but very disappointed that your chef can't cook a runny poached egg! Both were hard boiled which wasn't how this dish should be cooked. Neither of 2 staff members were readily available to advise. Was also quite frustrated that at only 8.30ish the 2 staff members were loudly clonking & banging around with setting up tables & cutlery right near our table making it difficult to hold a conversation. Considering the prices aren't that cheap we were disappointed with food quality which was also only luke warm. Doubt we'd return for food again.

   It was our first visit to the Throckmorton & we weren't disappointed. Everything was excellent. We certainly will revisit.

   Went for Mother's Day. There was a good choice on the menu. I opted for roast beef which was nice but the food that was on the plate, beef, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding were not very hot. Vegetables were steamed and arrived in a steamer, these were hot. Food was ok and I appreciate it was very busy all day. Will try again sometime in the near future when it's not quite so busy.

   Came for Mothers Day. Food poor. No table courtesy check. Very disappointing.

   Very cheerful and polite service. Mother’s Day special menu had limited vegetarian options but roast lunch was good for non-vegetarians. Very large portions. Coffee after lunch was excellent.

   1223 Excellent food and service as always at The Throckmorton, Coughton. Freshly cooked food, good portions, great service from Harley. Outstanding
