   Lovely food , great wine , sat in the sun with friend on a Sunday afternoon. Really nice staff and atmosphere was perfect.

   Gorgeous setting, sun was out and we opted to eat outside. Food was spot on and the service excellent. We love this place

   I booked a table here for 2, seeing as we were staying here on Saturday night, and I didn't fancy going out again to find somewhere to eat after all the travelling we had done that day. The service from the staff was excellent they were very helpful in helping my mum choose what she could eat because of her allergies, etc. However, we both found that when the food arrived, it was quite bland with not much flavour or taste. I had the double steak burger, which tasted like the burgers you get from a food wholesaler, not from a local butcher like I was expecting. Especially considering it was £18 which was extremely overpriced for what it was, burger, chips, and salad.

   Loads of choice. Quick service. Maybe a little too quick between courses but it was a quiet night and all servers were very friendly. Great portion sizes, we chose from a VE day special menu and a fixed weekday menu. Really delicious! Highly recommend a salted caramel espresso martini to finish!

   Booked 10 minutes beforehand on line as we were about to pass and fancied an impromptu meal out. My husband is coeliac so has to eat gluten free. The gf fish and chips was excellent. I had the 2 course beef roast dinner with cheesecake for desert. Having the 2 courses makes it really good value. The restaurant was busy but the service was excellent from the whole team. A really enjoyable meal

   Fantastic country pub. Well kept ale and fantastic food. A little pricier than some but the food is excellent. Great countryside views. Highly recommended.
